Melissa McNally, DVM

Owner & Veterinarian

Dr. McNally graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, located on the island of St. Kitts in 2010, completing her clinical rotations at Michigan State University. Dr. McNally has worked in the Lansing area since 2012. Dr. McNally grew up in the Grand Rapids area.

She founded Jolly Road Veterinary Clinic in 2018. She enjoys practicing general veterinary medicine and surgery, especially with a dedicated and caring team who are always looking to improve their clinical knowledge and skills. She has a special interest in avian and exotic medicine. Dr. McNally is also Fear Free certified.

Along with her husband, Luis, her son, and 2 step children, Dr. McNally shares her home with her cockatiel, Baby and her Amazon parrot, Avocado. In her free time, Dr. McNally enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family.

Jacque

Veterinary Technician

Jacque grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She graduated from Sanford Brown in 2014 with a degree in veterinary technology and moved to Lansing shortly there after to pursue her new career. After working at multiple clinics in the area, she joins the team at Jolly Road Veterinary Hospital in 2018.

Along with her husband, Chris, Jacque shares her home with her 6 cats, Play Kat, Cry Baby, the elusive Robin Hood, twins Athena and Bast, and Neptune, and 2 parrots, Echo and Achilles. She also fosters kittens. In her spare time, Jacque enjoys knitting and crocheting.

Duran

Veterinary Assistant

Duran grew up and graduated High School in Grand Blanc, MI. Duran started his college career in the graphic design field, but is currently studying veterinary technology.

Duran has worked as an assistant in the veterinary field since 2011. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida and worked as an assistant manager/ veterinary assistant for 2 years in a general veterinary medical practice. Duran wanted to challenge himself and transitioned into emergency animal medicine, taking a position at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Port Charlotte Florida, where he worked for nearly 2 years doing critical patient care. Duran returned to Michigan following his father’s passing in 2015.

Duran is charismatic and a fun loving individual. He is always passionate and loves to make people and their pets feel welcome! He always does his best to ensure that pets and their parents will receive the highest care possible.

Outside of the office, Duran spends time with his family including his three cats; Shelby a 22 year old Domestic Long Hair who he has grown up with since 1998; Bob his 5 year old rag doll and contagious cuddle monkey and Prince, a 5 year old domestic black short hair who has a personality to take over the world.
In his free time Duran likes to draw, kayak, garden and play video games.
